Skookm Clobber Shop

Pre-launch — nothing described below exists yet. No token has been deployed, no wallets have been created, and no multisig is set up. This page describes the plan SkookCoin intends to launch with. Nothing here should be treated as live, tradeable, or ready to receive funds.
SkookCoin $YTI — rotating engraved gold coin featuring a sasquatch walking through a pine forest with mountains behind

SkookCoin

A transparent treasury for wild places

$YTI · Solana

The idea

Most crypto projects that claim to "give back" ask you to take their word for it. SkookCoin doesn't.

10% of the total token supply — 100,000,000 $YTI — was permanently allocated at genesis to a public Conservation Treasury. The wallet address is public. Every transaction in and out of it is visible on the Solana blockchain, in real time, to anyone. You don't have to trust a press release. You can watch the ledger.

The mission: fund the protection of the world's remaining untouched wilderness — the kind of wild, undisturbed places where nothing's bothering anything, and nothing should.

Why a sasquatch

SkookCoin is part of the Skookm family — "Skook" comes from skookum, a word meaning strong, genuine, the real deal. The mascot is a sasquatch shown mid-stride: moving through the forest, not posing for a photo. A nod to the wildest, least-disturbed places left — the ones so undisturbed that even a legend could go unseen there.

Tokenomics

Total supply: 1,000,000,000 $YTI. Fixed. No ongoing mint. Standard SPL token — no transfer tax, no hidden mechanics.

How the treasury is controlled

At launch, SkookCoin is run by one founder plus one independent co-signer, holding the treasury under a 2-of-2 multisig. Neither person can move funds alone.

We're not going to pretend that's a decentralised governance structure, because it isn't — not yet. It's an honest, disclosed, two-person setup. As the treasury and community grow, control expands on pre-published, objective triggers — not vague promises:

— whichever comes first, control moves to a 3-of-5 multisig, with every signer named publicly before the change happens.

Every month, a treasury report is published: opening balance, closing balance, every transaction in and out, and a plain-English explanation of anything spent. If nothing happened that month, we publish that too.

Where the money goes

SkookCoin doesn't claim a charity partnership it doesn't have. No organisation has endorsed this project, and none should be assumed to have.

Conservation grants go through a published framework. To qualify, an organisation must:

We're watching organisations doing real work protecting wild land — the kind of work aligned with keeping genuinely wild places wild, not just planting trees for optics. The first grant will be made once the treasury holds meaningful value, and announced when it happens — not promised in advance.

What makes this different from giving to a traditional charity

A registered charity already has to publish accounts and answer to a regulator. That's real, and it matters. What's different here is timing and access: instead of waiting for an annual filing, anyone can check the SkookCoin treasury's balance and transaction history at any moment, for free, without asking anyone's permission.

To be clear about what that does and doesn't mean: on-chain visibility proves money moved, and where it went. It doesn't by itself prove a recipient used it well, and a multisig still depends on the people holding the keys acting honestly. This isn't a trust-free system — it's a faster, harder-to-hide one. We think that's a real improvement. We're not claiming it's magic, and we're not claiming traditional charities are inherently untrustworthy — most aren't. We're testing whether continuous, public verification is a better foundation for trust than an annual report. SkookCoin is that test, starting with conservation.

What SkookCoin is not

Before you buy $YTI: this is a speculative token from a first-time, solo-founded project. There is no guarantee of value, liquidity, or that the project succeeds. Only ever engage with money you can afford to lose entirely. Nothing on this page is financial advice.
